Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Summit Electric & Plumbing, operated by Summit Electric and Plumbing LLC (“Summit”, “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing or using callsummit.com (the “Site”) or by requesting, scheduling, or receiving our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Use of the Site

The Site is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. By using the Site you represent that you are of legal age and able to enter into a binding agreement. You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

2. Communications and Consent

By submitting a form, booking online, or otherwise providing your contact information, you agree that we may contact you by phone, email, and text message about your inquiry and our services. Some calls and messages may be sent using automated technology or prerecorded voice.

  • Consent is not a condition of purchase. You may still receive our services without agreeing to receive marketing communications.
  • Text messages. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts or HELP for help.
  • Opt-out. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email, and you may ask us to stop marketing calls at any time.
  • Data use. Information you provide is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

3. Scheduling, Estimates, and Services

  • Booking requests. Online booking and form submissions are requests for service. An appointment is confirmed only when we confirm it with you by phone, text, or email. Appointment windows are estimates and may change due to emergencies, weather, or prior jobs running long; we will keep you informed.
  • Estimates and pricing. Prices shown on the Site, in advertisements, or discussed before an on-site evaluation are general information only. Final pricing is provided in a written estimate after a technician evaluates the work. Estimates are valid for the period stated on the estimate.
  • Service agreements. The written estimate, invoice, or service agreement you approve for a job, together with any written warranty, governs that work. If those documents conflict with these Terms, the job documents control for that work.
  • Emergency service. After-hours or emergency service may be subject to additional fees, which will be disclosed before work begins.
  • Access and site conditions. You agree to provide safe access to the work area and to disclose known hazards or conditions that may affect the work.
  • Licensing and permits. Where required, we obtain permits for the work we perform, and permit fees may be included in your estimate.

4. Specials, Coupons, and Promotions

Specials and coupons are subject to the terms stated with each offer, must be presented or mentioned before work begins, cannot be combined with other offers unless stated, have no cash value, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. Offers do not apply to previously completed work.

5. Home Club Membership

Membership plans are governed by the membership terms provided at enrollment, including benefits, term, billing, renewal, and cancellation. Where those terms conflict with these Terms, the membership terms control for your membership.

6. Payment and Financing

Payment is due as stated on your invoice or service agreement. Financing offered through the Site is provided by third-party lenders, subject to their credit approval and their own terms and conditions. Summit is not a lender and does not make credit decisions.

7. Reviews, Photos, and Submissions

If you provide a review, testimonial, photo, or other content to us or post it publicly and tag or name Summit, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, and display that content (including your first name and city) in our marketing, unless you tell us otherwise. Do not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, or that infringes anyone else’s rights.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, photos, videos, and code, is the property of Summit Electric and Plumbing LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or otherwise exploit any part of the Site without our prior written consent.

9. User Conduct

You agree not to: use the Site for any unlawful purpose; interfere with or disrupt the Site or its servers; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site; upload malicious code or engage in fraudulent activity; scrape or harvest content or data from the Site; or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation of the Site or the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the information, content, or materials on it. Blog articles and other informational content are general information only and are not a substitute for an on-site evaluation by a qualified technician. Workmanship warranties for services we perform are provided separately in writing.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Summit Electric and Plumbing LLC and its owners, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site, including reliance on any content or communications. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or any written warranty we provide for services performed.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Summit Electric and Plumbing LLC and its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site.

13. Third-Party Tools and Links

The Site includes links to and integrations with third-party services, such as online scheduling, payment, financing, social media, and review platforms. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or functionality of any third-party website or tool.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
